This Omega De Ville has all the funk you could ever want from a vintage watch in 18K gold plated block case.
Not only a rare timepiece but is surely an eye-catcher that you want to wear to any occasion .
There is a lot of 1970s funk in this example, however it was made in 1969. The example we have here is free of Seamaster branding, a hint at its manufacturing date, post-1967 of 1969. This was the beginning of the De Ville produce line becoming Omega's space to experiment with some cutting edge. In 1967, the De Ville became its own independent collection.
These large rectangular shapes grew in popularity in the lead up to and start of the 70s. Today, there is a lot to love about the design. For a rectangular shaped vintage watch, block cases like the example we have here wear extremely well on the wrist at their large sizes for a much more contemporary look.
This De Ville's case is even manufactured by the casemaker Le Centrale Boites, or "CB" to collectors.
With applied hour markers at the cardinal positions 3,6,9 & 12, the dial on this watch is stunning in deep sea blue with gorgeous long white hands. The texture is crisp clear.
Very beautiful and rare watch. Perfect gift to a loved one or to an Omega De Ville watch collector. Fits for both genders as the watch case size is 27.5mm without the crown and 32mm from the top to bottom.

Condition:
This Omega De Ville is in great vintage condition with age related signs of use, it has been gently used.
The dial and hands are in great condition with a light patina. The hour markers have developed a bit of patina but present in clean condition.
The dial, case, movement are all signed by Omega. The previous owner let the crown changed for a better grip to wind the movement and we still have the original Omega crown to the watch. - It will be shipped with the watch. In working order.
