The history of the Seamaster De Ville begins in 1960. Early models at its release did not have the inscription “De Ville” on the dial. It was only in 1963 that the inscription appeared, and that until 1967. The main change of the “De Ville” was to offer a water-resistant and elegant monoblock case.

This is a very attractive Omega watch with rare "BULLSEYE" original watchdial with gorgeous patina with original set of dauphin hands.
The watch case is unpulished and solid stainless steel. The crystal is original hesalite glass. 35.5mm excluding the crown and 43mm lug tip to lug tip.
The serial number is 14542262 and dates this watch to circa 1954. Comes from an era when the quality was a must and this timepiece a great exeplare of it.

RARE! 14K Solid Gold 1957 Omega Automatic Seamaster, First full OMEGA rotor automatic movement, caliber 471, USA Edition, Gold Seamaster
Wearing a vintage Omega Seamaster is excellent value for money but also a great investment.
For those looking for something stylish and unique on their wrist, the vintage Omega Seamasters scream value, quality and sophistication. They are incredibly well-built watches with lots of life still left in them and are perfectly adept for being worn every day.
This Omega 471 is a great example of one of the first automatic calibers that Omega produced.
Caliber 471 was Omega's first full rotor automatic movement! It’s to appreciate it for what it is: a beautiful example of mid-century, post-war watchmaking. The stunning watch case is packed with a workhorse movement. That, alone, is a testament to its strength and longevity.
The movement is the 20-jewel Omega caliber 471. The 471 movement underwent a few variations in its time. This particular version of the movement is antimagnetic and shock-resistant, with a power reserve of upwards of 40 hours.
This watch has very elegant curved lugs which give it a more luxurious and noble look.
The solid yellow gold watch case is marked with 14K Gold in the back and between the lower lugs and once inside the back case.

A little history:
The Seamaster is as tough as nails. It’s a watch that can dive to the depths of the ocean, climb the highest mountains, and still look good at a black-tie event. When the Seamaster was released, Omega had already provided over 100,000 watches to the Ministry of Defence, meaning the technology had been thoroughly war-tested. It’s easy to see why the Seamaster is one of the most reliable vintage watches out there today.
The Seamaster was at the forefront of Omega’s technological advancements and featured anti-magnetism, waterproofing, and shock proofing capabilities, making it, still to this day, an outstanding and robust watch.
The 4-series is very much where Omegas ‘war-time tech’ was first brought into development for civilians and it is what lead to the incredibly established Omega 5-series movements. This movement was first released in 1954, way after the end of war, so it benefits from many of the same manufacturing developments that the 5-series did. These include vastly increased shock protection, magnetic resistance, durable precision parts, a hermetic crown and the list goes on. These movements were developed in Omegas prime, right after decades of consistently producing watches built to endure war, the Seamaster was the sturdy and reliable watch.

Here is a Stunning vintage Omega watch from the 1960s and no doubt that this is the era when the best quality watches were made.
The watch dial is unusual, and looks like that the dial has hundreds of little flames - gives the watch an extra character. I can not tell is is a re-dial or patina, however it looks amazing!

This beautiful watch was made in the 1940s and looks like it has been made yesterday. Used very gently and kept safe through all these decades. Our watchmaker has freshly serviced and oiled the movement (image #10) and ready for a second life.
Original signed crown. The solid stainless steel case is in very good condition. The snap back case shows barely signs of use. The case model is 2416-2 and measures circa 33mm in diameter excluding the crown by 41mm lug tip to lug tip.
Beautiful and factory original dial in superb condition. Original set of hands and hour indexes are in gold tone.
The hand-wind movement is a rare Omega caliber 28.SC with serial number 10902197 dating this timepiece to 1947.

This is a very rare and beautiful design by ANDREW GRIMA Omega watch.
There is, a world of undiscovered Omega gems that are very much growing in popularity in the current trend towards unusual and interesting case designs and EMERALD cut crystal.
It’s not just brands like Cartier and Piaget that made fascinating and funky shaped watches over the past half century. Omega has several incredibly cool and unusual watches in its rich history, none arguably more interesting than those designed by or inspired by English jeweller Andrew Grima.
A man who surpassed all others as the man of the moment when it came to jewellery and that was Andrew Grima. He was regarded as the foremost designer of modern jewellery in the 60s and 70s and had an exclusive boutique on Jermyn Street in the heart of London’s Mayfair. His work was high end and bespoke and, fittingly for the regal part of Mayfair, St James’s, his clients included British Royalty including both Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret.

This watch was a Sunday watch barely shows any signs of use and it still has its factory original watch box that also looks like new, but its over 40 years old by now.
Original signed crown. The solid stainless steel case is in very good unpolished original condition.
This Omega Genève was re-named from the Omega Seamaster Geneve Automatic watch.
This case model was introduced in 1963 with a Seamaster dial, in 1967 the dial was double printed "Seamaster Geneve" and from 1968 to 1969 the dial only say "Geneve".
The 24 jewels movement is an Omega calibre 552 with a swan neck regulator.
The movement serial number is 28263573, dating this watch to 1969. Factory original brushed silver dial is in great condition—original signed crown and Chrystal.
The case model measures a 34.6mm in diameter excluding the crown by 40.5mm lug tip to lug tip.
