1956 Longines Silver Arrow, Legendary Longines 23ZS, First edition
The Silver Arrow is an exercise in clean, legible watchmaking – something that we don`t see in many of today's dress watches.
The Longines Silver Arrow has a fascinating history. Named in homage of the ground-breaking high-profile Mercedes race cars of the same mid-century period, which were known for their speed, technological advancement and elegance.
The Model was first released in 1956!
Our timepiece were among those few released as first - dates back exact to this date with the serial number 10165855 and dates this watch to 1956.
This fact alone makes this watch something special as it was released among the first edition, but there is more to look at!
Silver Arrows are known for their case back emblems: a supersonic plane, flying amongst the stars. With these watches being made right on the brink of the Space Age, it is a clear nod to Longines's association with aviation, as well as their clear understanding of the advancements in technology that were happening in multiple other industries.
This watch, put simply, is stunning. it is in truly spectacular condition for a watch that age.
The dial is incredibly interesting and the aging of it gives no doubt to its originality. It has an outer, mirrored ring and very unusual, brick-effect baton gold toned markers.
In the 33.5mm diameter watch case is the Longines caliber 23ZS!
Perfect gift to a loved one or to a serious Longines watch collector!

1950s Rare Longines Aicerinox,浪琴, Self Winding movement 22AN
This is a very rare Longines timepiece called AICERINOX and we could not find a second model of it, so we contacted Longines and asked for an EXACT FROM THE ARCHIVES that says:
`Originally, the serial number 8'147'700 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 6006. It is fitted with a Longines mechanical self-winding movement, caliber 22AN. It was invoiced on 24 December 1951 to our former agent for China.`
We could not find not the model or the caliber ending with AN.
So, it explains a lot and it is probably a single piece as in China Longines was not to everyone available in the 1950s, this timepiece must have been owned by someone highly ranked person.
However the what has found its way back to Switzerland again, and we are very proud to be able to offer it for sale.
The watch case is extremely beautiful and the curved and long lugs make it look larger as it is.
The long black sword hands and the black numbers and indexes are sharp and you surely won't miss a second because of the lovely central sweep seconds hand kept its beautiful gold tone to help your eyes to follow.
Not only a rare timepiece but absolutely stunning looking and surely is an eye-catcher!
Perfect gift for a special loved one or to yourself!
Also, can be considered as a very good inflation safe investment.
